What is a computer?
In my own words:
1. The 4 main parts of a computer are the input, storage, processing and output. Input is the data entered into the computer or the act of entering data. Storage, any device that can store info. Processing is the manipulation of data according to the instructions given to the computer by a program or embedded in a chip itself. Output is the info displayed to the user ex. display on screen, printed page, or sound.2. Humans can be considered computers because they have the same 4 main parts as a comp. We get an input from information we've learned or even the food we eat. We can store memories and info and food nutrients. Humans process situations and think of the right responses. We output in the form of words, sound, art and many more ways. Like a blog.
3. As similar as we are to computers their are many differences as well. Humans have emotions, we can make independent decisions, and we can think without inputs. Physically we are very different but that is obvious. Computers might be faster but they can not feel, comprehend, or play sports like we can.
4. Personal computers are different from other computers. They are bigger and are require to be plugged in constantly to get energy. Phones are smaller portable and are easily maneuvered. Laptops and desktops can handle a lot more input then iPhones or cell phones which is why they are bigger and have more room to store info. They might have all the 4 main parts of a computer but that doesn't mean they are the same or at the same level.
